Kebab

Tender Pork Kebabs are my family’s favorites. One of my favorite parts of spring and summer is grilling and eating out-of-doors. No place is better than your own backyard surrounded with your family and friends.
Kebabs are awesome, convenient summer food. There’s nothing better than a delicious, juicy and tender  kebabs with fresh salad or my favorite Marinated Onion Salad!!!

Serves 4-6

Ingredients:
3 lb. Pork (Country-Style Ribs)
2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
1 tsp. cumin, ground
1 tsp. black pepper
3/4 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. crushed garlic
1 Tbsp. paprika
1/3 bunch fresh Italian parsley,
1 medium onion
Pinch of red pepper flakes-optional
Special equipment: wooden skewers

Instruction:
Place peeled onion and parsley into food processor and puree them. Cut the meat into 1 1/2 inch cubes; disregard the bone if there is any. Place cubed pork in a bowl; add pureed onion mixture and rest of the ingredients; mix it until all the meat gets coated well
Refrigerate and let it marinate for 1-2 hours or overnight
Preheat the grill to medium
About 20 minutes before grilling, place wooden skewers in baking dish and cover with water; it will prevent them from burning on the grill
Skewer the pork to make kebabs, put about 4 pieces of meat on each skewer. Don’t jam the meat too close together, it will allow the heat reach all the sides and cook evenly
Grill the skewers on all sides about 3-4 minutes per side until each side gets nice and brown and meat is fully cooked.

steps to make kabobs

Remove the kebabs from the grill to a serving plate. Serve with your favorite BBQ sauce and salad. My family loves it with Fresh Marinaned Onion Salad and Creamy Mashed potatoes.
Enjoy!!!
