Since its cherry season, my brother in-law Yuriy got us a big box of cherries directly from a local farm. Of course, my kids and I decided to make some cherry ice cream. Who doesn’t love ice cream on a hot summer day? This recipe is very simple but delicious at the same time. My homemade version of cherry ice cream is made with cream, condensed milk, cherries, cherry juice and chunks of dark chocolate. !!!
Ingredients:
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups heavy cream
1/3 cup cherry juice concentrate
1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and chopped
2/3 cup chopped dark Chocolate Bar
Directions
In a mixer bowl, beat heavy cream until soft peaks.
Gradually pour the condensed milk , whisking constantly.
Mix in the cherry juice, chopped chocolate and chopped fresh cherries.
Pour your ice cream mixture into your ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions. I have Kitchen Aid Ice Cream Maker (It takes 25-30 minutes on mine) after your ice cream has finished freezing.
Transfer to a sealed container and put in freezer until it reaches the desired consistency, for few hours or overnight.
Enjoy!!!

The ice cream looks delish. Its hard to get super fresh cherry in Malaysia. Most of the time its super expensive too.
Ohh I see…. You can use frozen cherries, if they’re available or use some other kind available seasonal fruit. 🙂
Yum, Every recipe that have condensed sweetened milk is the best. Thats my favorite ingredient. Is there any way of making it with out ice cream maker?
Thanks Inessa.
I was watching youtube on how to make ice cream, and russian people dont use the ice cream maker, they just put it in the freezer.
Thank you Lena. Yes, you can put in freezer but keep mixing it every 30 minutes so it will become fluffy and creamy. Lea, let me know how it turns out. Thanks girls!!!
