Gravy is a key component of many meals, whether you need it to dress the bird, the dressing or the mashed potatoes.
Ingredients:
4 Tbsp. butter
4 cups pan drippings/juice or chicken broth
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Melt butter in large sauce pan over a medium low heat, whisk in the flour. Cook and stir over low heat until the mixture looks like wet sand, about 2 minutes. Slowly whisk in the juice from the turkey(drippings) or chicken broth. Cook until the mixture has thickened and reached a gravy consistency. Taste and adjust the seasoning. Serve in pitcher or bowl.

I’ am ashamed to admit that I have never ever made gravy from scratch. This is a excellent recipe and one I should make an effort to try.
Looks good! so the gravy wont have veggies?
How long can it be kept in the refrigerator?
