This cake is 110% worth making. It is an absolute winner, and if you have the time and want to challenge yourself- do it. You won’t regret it.This 10-layer cake is wonderful! I have seen as many as 15 layers used for this cake, but this 10-layer version is absolutely wonderful!
Kids like to participate in the process as well.
Recipe ingredients:
Layers:
2 eggs
2 tablespoons of honey
1 cup of sugar
1 stick of butter
2 teaspoons of baking soda mixed with 2 tablespoons of vinegar
4 cups of flour + about 1 cup for rolling

Cream:
48 oz of sour cream
2 cups of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Recipe directions:
Mix honey with the sugar and the eggs.
Add the butter and then the baking soda mixture (in separate bowl mix baking soda with vinegar).
In a pot, on really low heat, mix the ingredients so the honey and sugar melts; it becomes smooth and
creamy. Don’t let it boil or become too hot; once the butter, sugar and honey has melted take the mixture
off the heat.
Let it cool.
Once the mixture has cooled, add the flour in small amounts, mix.
The batter will thicken to dough.
Place it on a flat surface and roll it in to a long cylinder shape.
Add flour as you roll it so the dough does not stick to the surface.
Cut the batch into 10 equal sections. Make each section into 1inch thick circles. Set aside on a baking sheet that is floured.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Take wax paper and  cut 12 inch long  sheets.  You will need at least 10 of these; one per layer.
Next, take one circle of dough, place it at the center of the wax paper, sprinkle some flour and roll into a thin flat circle. It needs to have a 25 inch diameter, or bigger if you want the layers to be extra thin.
Next using a large bowl that has 25 inch diameter, place on the rolled dough upside down, so the edge of the bowl in touching the dough. Using  a sharp knife, cut the dough around the edges of the bowl.
Lift the bowl and you should have a perfect circle.
You can roll all the circles of dough and then bake, or can bake as you go, one at a time.
For baking, place a baking sheet on the middle rack in the oven.
Take the wax paper with the rolled and cut dough on it place it on the baking sheet.
Be careful, these layers are thin so they bake quickly, 3-5 minutes.

As soon as it turns light golden take it out, let cool for a min and peal the wax paper from the baked layer.
Continue until all ten of the sections of the dough are baked.

Cream:Mix the sour cream, sugar and vanilla. Using a large flat plate, spread the cream on each layer, until all the cream and baked layers are gone. For each turn I added about 4 large spoonfuls of cream and spread it all over the layer. Decorate the top with chocolate shavings or drizzle chocolate syrup. You can also use fruits and nuts, be creative.
