Sugar and Spice, I’m craving something nice. Hot Cranberry Apple Cider is the perfect blend of Apple Cider with fresh Cranberry and Orange spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg.


1/2 gallon apple cider
2 cups fresh cranberries
2 cinnamon sticks
4 whole allspice
4 whole cloves

1/3 tsp. nutmeg, grated
2 Oranges- sliced

Cinnamon sticks, orange and fresh cranberries for garnish



Combine all the cider ingredients in a large saucepan.




















Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer uncovered for 15-20 minutes.
Serve the Cider along with some of the stewed cranberries, but you can also strain before serving.

Garnish with fresh cranberries, an orange slice or a cinnamon stick.

***For the crock pot: Set crock pot to low and let cider heat for at least 2-3 hours.  Set to warm to keep cider hot for serving.

***Cider can be refrigerated
