Nothing says spring like these fresh Sesame Sugar Snap Peas with red pepper flakes, garlic, and sesame oil. So easy to make and full of flavor. Sesame Sugar Snap Peas are a great accompaniment to chicken or fish dishes. Add a side of brown rice or couscous and you have a great springtime meal.
1 Tbsp. sesame oil
1 pinch red pepper flakes
2-3 garlic clove, minced
1 pound sugar snap peas, washed and trimmed
1 tsp. sesame seeds (black or white)
Salt and pepper
2 Tbsp. water
Heat a large skillet or wok to medium-high. Add sesame oil, garlic and red pepper flakes.
Saute for 1 minute. Add sugar snap peas and water; cook for 4-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Turn off the heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
